Why You’ll Love this Course:
While most clinicians likely encourage patients to connect to, listen to, and act from their own intuition, very few of us have been provided with concrete training in how to support patients in practicing these important behaviors. This course will teach you how to integrate mindfulness-based behavioral tools focused on intuition in specific, applicable ways. By learning how to define and practice behaviors associated with intuition, you will be able to more effectively support patients in accessing and making decisions from their own inner wisdom in your therapeutic work.
Course description:
This course will provide practical instruction to therapists seeking training in how to integrate mindfulness-based behaviors focused on intuition into their clinical work across diverse populations. Appropriate participants have some prior experience using mindfulness in their clinical work, and they are interested in learning how to apply these behaviors to improving patients’ connection to intuition in more targeted and effective ways in psychotherapy. This course will place a strong emphasis on understanding mindfulness as a behavior, learning interoceptive behavioral practices, and weaving values and/or spirituality into psychotherapy that both patients and therapists can use to enhance treatment effectiveness.
