    Why You’ll Love this Course:
Fertility issues and the emotions associated with reproductive medical interventions (like, IVF, egg freezing, and IUI) often show up as presenting problems in therapy. But many therapists may feel unprepared to use treatment to support clients through these journeys because they feel overwhelmed by the medical jargon or the existential pain these clients bring into the room. By the end of this course, you will have the knowledge you need to effectively support clients of all kinds as they face fertility challenges and/ or navigate the landscape of assisted reproduction.

    Course description:
This course will provide therapists with the tools they need to be effective sources of support for clients that are coping with the challenges of infertility and assisted reproduction. The course will cover the basics of the causes and interventions for infertility and highlight the complex interconnections between fertility and mental health. This course will also cover key interventions for mental health clinicians at every stage of assisted reproduction, including pre-diagnosis counseling, supporting clients through IVF or other forms of assisted reproduction, and helping clients cope with the challenging outcomes of fertility interventions.
